Jessica is a Senior Strategic Advisor to Platypus Advisors, bringing over 20 years of experience at the intersection of social impact, equity, and organizational strategy. She partners with CEOs and senior leaders across corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors to design purpose-driven work that's both visionary and executable.

Her career has taken her from classrooms to boardrooms, from grassroots nonprofits to the private sector. At Google, she served as Community Development Executive, leading the multi-year community engagement and entitlement strategy for Downtown West, a proposed 80-acre mixed-use development in San Jose. Her work navigated the complex overlap between corporate growth and the diverse needs, interests, and concerns of surrounding communities, including arts, culture, and neighborhood identity. At Cisco, she identified the need for and led a team in transitioning from a single-issue corporate philanthropy campaign to a global campaign reflective of employee choice and voice, doubling engagement across 80,000 employees in 90 countries in support of 1,200+ charities and NGOs.

Jessica is also the Founder and Principal of J Graham Consulting, where she helps leaders and organizations navigate change with clarity, courage, and care.

She holds dual B.A.s in English and Spanish from Oakwood University, an M.Ed. from Lesley University, and a Master's in Public Policy from Georgetown University. An AmeriCorps alum and daughter of a preacher and a teacher, Jessica has always understood philanthropy and justice as inseparable.
